Jibhi group trip from Delhi: plan it for 8 to 10 people
How to travel, where to stay together, food and a simple 3-day plan for groups.
Short answer: for a Jibhi group trip from Delhi, take an overnight Volvo to Aut and taxis for the last 28–35 km, or drive two cars in convoy (often 11–14 hours). Book one stay that fits everyone: our whole property in Chhet, near Jibhi, sleeps 10 comfortably, is private for your group, has in-house chefs and lets you drive right to the door.
A Jibhi group trip from Delhi works best when one person sorts three things early: how the group travels, where everyone sleeps under one roof, and who is cooking. Get those right and the rest is bonfires, walks and long breakfasts. This guide is written from Chhet, a few minutes past Jibhi, where our whole property — the Glass House and both Mudhouses — sleeps 10 comfortably and can be booked privately for one group.
Getting a group from Delhi to Jibhi
There is usually no direct Delhi–Jibhi bus. Groups pick one of three ways, and the right one depends on how many drivers you have and how much luggage you carry. Full details are in Delhi to Jibhi how to reach.
- Overnight Volvo to Aut, then taxis: book seats together on a Delhi → Manali / Kullu coach and ask for the Aut drop (commonly 10–13 hours, dawn arrival). From Aut it is roughly 28–35 km to Jibhi. We can help arrange taxis from Aut; fares vary with dates and group size, so book them in advance.
- Two cars in convoy: total driving is often 11–14 hours. Keep both cars together on the Aut–Banjar stretch, finish the mountain road in daylight and share the location pin before you leave. Our tips for smaller cars are in Delhi to Jibhi by car.
- Hiring a tempo traveller: message us before you book it. Mountain lanes are narrow, so we will tell you where a bigger vehicle can reach. Cars drive right up to our door and park free.
Travelling on a long weekend? The Aut–Banjar road gets jammed, and group dates fill first, so lock the stay early. Our long weekends 2027 list shows which breaks need the fewest leave days.

One roof for 8 to 10 people
The hardest part of a group trip in the hills is keeping everyone together. Many small stays have one or two rooms, so big groups end up split across properties. At Peaks N Valley Stays you can book the whole property for your group: three cottages, no other guests on site, sleeping 10 comfortably.
- Glass House: the couple's pick, with a glass roof and a private hot tub. Read more on the glass house in Jibhi page.
- Two Mudhouses: cosy cottages with lofts and a shared patio for the rest of the gang. See the mud house cottages in Chhet.
- Warm in winter: a room heater in every cottage, 24x7 hot water and power backup.
- Pets welcome in all three cottages; tell us your dog's size when you enquire.
- Wi-Fi and a work desk if someone has to log in (we do not quote speeds).
Group rates depend on your dates and number of nights. WhatsApp us your dates and group size and we will share them.
Food for a group without the daily scramble
Ten people deciding where to eat, three times a day, eats into the holiday. Our in-house local chefs cook home-style meals from a menu, using farm-sourced produce where we can, at reasonable menu rates; ask for the menu on WhatsApp. Siddu is made fresh on request, so tell us the evening before. Packed lunches for a Jalori day can be arranged with notice. For cafés and dhabas nearby, see what to eat in Jibhi.

A 3-day plan that works for mixed groups
- Day 1: arrive by midday, lunch, then the short forest walk to Jibhi waterfall. Evening bonfire at the cottages (on request, charged separately).
- Day 2: Jalori Pass by car when the road is open, and Serolsar Lake (roughly 5 km each way from Jalori) for the walkers. Anyone who prefers a slow day stays back with the view. In deep winter Jalori often closes after snow; swap in Chehni Kothi or a village walk.
- Day 3: slow breakfast, a short walk to Bahu and Ghiyagi or a riverside picnic, and leave after lunch.
Want more days or a different mix? Our Jibhi itinerary covers 1 to 5 days.

Celebrating something in the group?
Birthdays, anniversaries and reunions are common reasons groups come up. Room decoration, a cake and a candlelight dinner are available on request with 1 day's advance notice. Tell us when you book so we can plan it with the chefs.
Who a Jibhi group trip suits and who it does not
- Good fit: friends' gangs, families with parents and kids, college or school reunions, small team offsites, yoga or photography groups who want quiet mornings.
- Not a fit: groups looking for loud parties, clubs or a Mall Road. Jibhi is a small village and evenings here are quiet by design.
- Weather: snow is possible in winter and never guaranteed. Read Jibhi in winter before a December–February trip.
Group trip checklist before you book
- Fix dates and a head count first; group stays go early on long weekends.
- Decide bus + taxi or cars, and tell us so we can share the location pin and road notes.
- Ask for the menu and tell us about any food preferences in advance.
- Mention pets, celebrations and a bonfire night when you enquire.
- Carry warm layers from October; nights are cold even when days are sunny.
